BitDefender added new tool in the list of their security application and this time its USB Immunizer. If you’re not a BitDefender fan—its OK but you surely going to like this tool, portable, simple and easy to use, less than 2MB in size BitDefender USB Immunizer allows you to shield your USB storage device or SD card against infections. Even if your storage device has been plugged into an infected computer, the piece of malware will be unable to create its autorun.inf file, thus removing any chance of it auto-launching. There is another option available in this app, Immunize Computer slider which allows you to toggle the autorun feature On or Off for any removable media (except for CD/DVD-ROM devices). If you accidentally plug-in an infected USB drive that has not been immunized, the computer will not auto-execute the piece of malware located on the USB storage device.
And one more thing this is a Free tool anyone can use it but it displays their own ads, I hope this is not bothering you.
