Amazon today announced that the free Amazon Student app, released for iPhone earlier this year, is now available for Android. Students with Android devices now have a convenient and easy way to shop for holiday gifts, get FREE Two-Day shipping, and trade in used textbooks for Amazon.com Gift Cards, all within one mobile app.
In addition, users can sign up for Amazon Student membership which will enable them access to exclusive deals offered via Amazon.
From now until December 15, customers can use the Amazon Student app to enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Amazon.com Gift Card in the Trade In to Win Sweepstakes and no purchase is necessary to enter.
