Today YouTube officially unveiled a new look for its twenty billion users which includes a new homepage which looks a lot like Facebook or Google+. An activity feed view dominates the middle of the page, while a left-hand navigation bar provides a set of filters for what you see in the feed. Also tweaked are channels, which are now more easily customizable thanks to new Channel templates and to bring the new homepage and Channels designs together they’ve applied a fresh coat of digital paint across the whole site.
