HTC today unveiled HTC Explorer which is an affordable handset that runs Android 2.3.5 OS. The new mobile phone features a 3.2-inch HVGA (480 x 320) capacitive display, 600MHz processor, 3MP camera and 512MB of expandable memory and is expected to become available for purchase in various countries in EMEA and Asia starting with the fourth quarter of the year, in Metallic Black, Active Black and Metallic Navy.

Toshiba announces 7-inch Thrive Tablet

Toshiba announced the Thrive 7" tablet powered by Android 3.2 and the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform,  features two HD cameras - 5MP camera with LED Flash on the back and 2MP on the front, built-in Gyroscope , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mini USB, Micro HDMI and a Micro SD card slot and weighs only 0.88 pounds. No words on pricing and availability, though Toshiba confirmed that 7-inch Thrive comes in two models –16GB and 32GB and will be available in December.
