Sony Mobile today announced two new Xperia Android smartphones designed specifically for the Japanese market. Xperia GX and Xperia SX join the popular Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD.
The Xperia GX is joined by the Xperia SX, which Sony claims is the world's lightest LTE capable handset, weighing only 95grams. It packs 3.7-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera, and 8GB internal memory. It also features infrared port data exchange, mobile wallet and mobile TV.
Both Xperia GX and Xperia SX will launch in black and white with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich installed when they hit stores in Japan this summer.
