Acer today launched the new TravelMate P243 notebook, will be available in the US in early August at authorized Acer resellers for $700. The new TravelMate P243 notebooks with a 14-inch, 1,366 x 768 LED-backlit display, powered by third-generation Intel Core i5 packs a 4GB of DDR3 memory (upgradeable to 8GB) and a 500GB hard drive. Also includes multi-level Acer ProShield Security with BioProtection Fingerprint solution, Bluetooth, WiFi, high-def webcam and built-in microphone.
The TravelMate P243 series notebooks with 2nd Generation Intel Core i3 processors will be available with prices beginning at $599.99.
