LG’s new entry-level smartphone LG E400 Optimus L3 popped up on Swedish retailer CDON website, running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with LG's Optimus UI. This device features a 3.2-inch QVGA (320x240 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, a 3MP camera, WiFi , Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio and a microSD card slot. The LG Optimus L3 is up for pre-order with a price of 1290SEK ($190) contract free and will be in stock by February 27th.
Apple today released Final Cut Pro X v10.0.3, a significant update to its revolutionary professional video editing application, which introduces multicam editing that automatically syncs up to 64 angles of video and photos; advanced chroma keying for handling complex adjustments right in the app; and enhanced XML for a richer interchange with third party apps and plug-ins that support the fast growing Final Cut Pro X ecosystem. Available today as a free update from the Mac App Store, Final Cut Pro X v10.0.3 also includes a beta of broadcast monitoring that supports Thunderbolt devices as well as PCIe cards.
Last month Nokia promised Nokia Belle or Symbian Belle update for devices (such as the N8, E7, X7, E6, C6-01 and C7) will arrive sometime in February but didn’t mentioned any exact date. Motorola announced the availability of the Motorola RAZR Developer Edition with unlockable bootloader,which is now available for pre-order in Europe for €499. Sony today announced the development of two CMOS image sensor models designed for use in smartphones and other devices. They are equipped with Sony's unique “RGBW Coding” function which allows images to be captured with low noise and high picture quality even in low-light conditions. They also contain Sony's “HDR (High Dynamic Range) Movie” function which allows brilliant color to be captured even in bright settings. Sony has also developed a model with built-in signal processing functionality, an element that usually requires external embedment.
Sony today announced that it has developed a new next-generation back-illuminated CMOS image sensor which embodies the continuous evolution of the camera. This image sensor layers the pixel section containing formations of back-illuminated structure pixels onto chips containing the circuit section for signal processing, which is in place of supporting substrates for conventional back-illuminated CMOS image sensors. This structure achieves further enhancement in image quality, superior functionalities and a more compact size that will lead to enhanced camera evolution.

The iPhone Dev-Team has released a RedSn0w (0.9.10b4) update fixing an iBooks issue.
The b4 version of redsn0w incorporates the 5.0.1 fix for iBooks, and also for sporadic problems with launchctl. Thanks to @xvolks for merging the iBooks (sandbox) fix from @comex’s github into the overall corona untether from @pod2g! As usual, you can choose to install the fix either by re-running redsn0w over your existing jailbreak (de-select Cydia if you do that), or by installing the corona package from Cydia (it’s the same set of files no matter which way you choose).
Saurik twitted that an update to the Corona Untethered Jailbreak has been released in Cydia which fixes issues for iBooks and launchd and it’s recommended to the users who previously jailbroke their A4 devices, to install the Corona package from Cydia.

Plextor announces the release of its latest External Slim DVD/CD Writer, PX-612U, with PlexTV at the CES 2012. PlexTV is a new feature enabling Plextor's DVD/CD drive to work with televisions, media players, and other USB-enabled devices. The external drive connects directly to the desired display via USB cable and the user is able to access information stored on a CD or DVD without a PC.
