Google+ Hangouts comes to Gmail, replacing Gmail video chat

Google today began rolling out Google+ Hangouts functionality to Gmail, replacing (upgrading) old Gmail video chat. The biggest difference between two is that unlike old video chat, which was based on peer-to-peer technology, the upgraded service will offer higher reliability and enhanced quality by utilizing the power of Google's network.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PS Vita, Account Management and Account Registration. Those who are looking to play online can still do so - as long as they are signed in to PSN before maintenance starts.

Google Acquires Email App Maker Sparrow

The company CEO Dom Leca has confirmed in a blog post that Sparrow will be joining the Gmail team to "accomplish a bigger vision – one that we think we can better achieve with Google". However, the team "will continue to make Sparrow available and provide support for our users."

YouTube offers Face-Blurring option provides Visual Anonymity for Videos

YouTube today launched a face blurring tool that allows video makers to obscure faces within videos with the click of a button. To Blur Faces on YouTube all you need to do is to choose a video that you would like to edit within Video Enhancements tool, go to Additional Features and click the "Apply" button below Blur All Faces. You'll be able to preview how it looks, and if you save changes, a new copy is made with the blurred faces and then you will be given the option to delete the original video.
