Sprint has teamed up with Lenovo to offer the first Ultrabook in a bundled wireless package that includes the Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Ultrabook, MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Novatel Wireless or Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless and three months free Mobile Broadband service with a two-year Mobile Broadband service agreement for $799.99 (plus tax). The data plans for the 3G/4G mobile hotspot device start at $34.99/mo for 3GB and $49.99/mo for 6GB.
Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Ultrabook measures just 0.71 inches (18 mm) thin, weighs less than four pounds and offers up to seven hours of battery life. The Ultrabook features a 13.3-inch HD display, 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor and Intel HD 4000 graphics, 720p HD webcam and stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theatre V4 audio enhancement. The Ultrabook also includes Lenovo’s AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys for comfortable and accurate typing and glass touchpad for easy scroll, zoom and rotate functions.
The U310 also comes with an arsenal of security tools, including Lenovo’s VeriFace facial recognition technology for convenient login and OneKey Rescue System for simple data backup and recovery. In case of loss or theft, Intel Anti-theft (AT) technology can remotely disable the Ultrabook or track it down through GPS or Wi-Fi geo-location with third-party service subscription.
