New tweak for Windows 8 Build 7850 which enable Aero Aurora wallpaper auto-colorization. This tweak is discovered by the BetaArchive forum, Jc160 and posted the files needed to enable this tweak and neowin.net compared the files and showed only one line insertion is enough to enable this tweak.
How to Enable Windows 8 Aero Aurora Wallaper auto-colorization
- Open aero.theme in Notepad
- Go down to the [VisualStyles] section, and delete the line starting with ColorizationColor
- Insert a line in that same spot: AutoColorization=1
- Save the file and reload theme in Personalization.
If you’re getting error while saving the file then you can try copy aero theme ( from C:\Windows\Resources\Themes) to desktop, modify and save it then copy back to theme folder.
