Microsoft on its official Windows Team Blog announced that customers running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 will able to download a Windows 8 Pro upgrade for just $39.99 in 131 markets. And if you want, you can add Windows Media Center for free through the “add features” option within Windows 8 Pro after your upgrade.
If you want packaged DVD version of the upgrade, you’ll have to pay $69.99 during this promotion (online and offline upgrade promotion) which will end on January 31, 2013.
