Google Docs gets an Android App

Android docs

Yesterday, Google announced new Google Docs app for Android which lets you editing docs using the online mobile editors, easily share items with contacts on your phone and also allows you to upload content from your phone and open documents directly from Gmail. But the real standout feature is the ability to capture text with your phone's camera and have it instantly made editable thanks to some optical character recognition.

The Google Docs app is currently available in English and works on Android 2.1+ phones. Try it out by scanning the QR code below or by visiting Android Market.
