Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Player 4.0 and Galaxy Player 5.0 will be available for pre-order starting September 27th and will hit the US shelves on October 16th. The Galaxy Player 5.0 ($269) features a 5-inch WVGA TFT display while the 4.0 ($229) has a 4" WVGA Super Clear LCD display. Both are powered by Android 2.3.5, 3.2MP rear cameras and VGA front shooters. Other specs includes Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB of onboard storage, a microSD expansion slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, voice recorder, mini-USB connectivity etc. More detailed specs after the break.
