At the CeBIT tradeshow in Hannover, Germany, Acer unveiled the Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 Ultrabook. The latest Timeline series is not only slimmer and lighter than its predecessors (measuring just 20 mm thin) but will also be the first Ultrabook to feature a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics card.

The Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 is also the first 15" 2-spindle Ultrabook to feature an optical drive for DVD enjoyment. It also features latest Intel Core processor, a regular HDD alongside a SSD for “instant-on” and Acer instant scan and registers most-visited access points, letting users connect to the Internet in just 2.5 seconds, which is four times faster than conventional methods. It will come with entertainment enhancements which includes Dolby Home Theater v4 and a set of integrated premium speakers.

This Ultrabook features 8 hours of battery life and stylish black cover made of an aluminum alloy. No words on pricing yet but it will be available in stores worldwide by March 2012.
