Google Chrome Browser Exploited, Hacker gets $60K reward

Chrome Browser hacked at Pwnium

Google’s new Pwnium hacker contest which is being run this year as an alternative to the more well-known Pwn2Own challenge saw the fall of Google Chrome browser at CanSecWest security conference by a long-time Chromium contributor Sergey Glazunov who gets $60,000.

Google announced it as-

Google Chrome team wasted no time fixing the security hole exploited by Glazunov and has updated the Chrome Stable channel to 17.0.963.78 on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame, where issues concerning Flash games and videos has been fixed.
