Samsung Galaxy S 'Value Pack' upgrade goes live in Korea

Samsung has officially released the so called 'value pack' for Samsung Galaxy S in Korea. This value pack is based on Gingerbread Android 2.3 but it contains features that were released for the first time in Ice Cream Sandwich including face unlock, ability to take photos while recording video and launcher improvements.

Galaxy S 'Value Pack' update is expected to be available in other countries in the coming weeks. Users can upgrade their devices as long as they have Kies 2.0 and a bit of free storage space.
