Sony Mobile today announced Xperia sola as the latest addition to its portfolio of Android powered Xperia smartphones. The NFC enabled Xperia sola equipped with 1GHz STE U8500 dual-core processor, a 3.7-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine (854 x 480 ), Android 2.3 (upgrade to Android 4.0 during summer 2012) and 5MP rear camera.
Xperia Sola also features floating touch navigation for an easy web browsing, Radio (FM radio with RDS), Bluetooth, WiFi, a GPS, 8 GB internal storage (up to 5 GB user-accessible memory), a microSD slot (supporting up to 32GB), Xperia SmartTags, an xLOUD "surround sound, comes in red, black and white colour option
Xperia sola will be bought into the Italian market under the name “Sony Xperia sole” and in China P.R. under the name “Sony Xperia MT27i”.
