Google has raised its maximum application size limit from 50MB to a 4GB, while the size of APK file will still be limited to 50MB. Developers will be able to bundle two additional 2GB expansion files with their apps and when users download app from Android Market, the expansion files will be downloaded automatically, and the refund period won’t start until the expansion files are downloaded. Plus users will see the actual app size including all data on the Android Market listing.
