It’s spring time and one again Google is in action retiring many of its products and services. Probably the biggest news for many BlackBerry fans is that Google's officially ending its support for Google Sync for BlackBerry beginning June 1st.

Google said that users who have already downloaded the app will still be able to use it, but it will no longer be available for download and won't be maintained after June 1. Google suggests that Google Sync for BlackBerry users switch to BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), or the Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Google also announced that the Picasa Web Albums Uploader for Mac and Picasa Web Albums Plugin for iPhoto will no longer be available for download - recommends you to download the Mac-native Picasa 3.9 app, which includes upload and iPhoto import features. Google also making a number of API changes, adopting a one-year deprecation policy for certain APIs and removing the deprecation policy for others.

There are several other services being suspended, including mobile web app for Google Talk. For the full list of services getting the axe, hit the source link below.
