Samsung ATIV Smart PC and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 hit AT&T on November 9th

AT&T today announced that the Samsung ATIV smart PC, a new Windows 8 tablet and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, a 4G LTE Android tablet will be available at AT&T retail stores beginning November 9th. The Samsung ATIV smart PC will be priced at $799.99 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $499.99.

Samsung ATIV smart PC has an 11.6-inch HD PLS display, 64GB of internal storage memory and a microSD card slot to support up to an additional 32GB of memory and the Intel Atom dual-core processor, up to 1.5 GHz. ATIV smart PC comes installed with Windows 8 (which can be upgraded to Windows 8 Pro). It is also backward compatible and supports all existing software and applications that run on older windows OS such as Windows 7, Vista, and XP.

Samsung Mobile and AT&T are offering the following accessories3 to get the most out of the ATIV smart PC:

• Stand Dock – Dock the ATIV smart PC in the Stand Dock to turn any environment into a personal office. In addition to providing a charge when docked, the Stand Dock is equipped with a built-in USB port and Ethernet (RJ45) port to connect the ATIV smart PC to LAN and various USB peripherals.

Sprint announced that its first 4G LTE tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available online and retail stores, beginning November 11th for $549.99.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 packs  a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also features LTE connectivity, two cameras, a 3MP rear-facing  and front facing VGA camera.

Samsung Galaxy S III to get Jelly Bean Android 4.1 starting today, 15 additional devices listed

In an email sent to Verge, Samsung named the smartphones and tablets that it plans to update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which includes ten phones - the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, and Galaxy S Duos; four tablets: the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1; and an unknown device.

The company has also announced that it's updating Samsung Galaxy S III to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, hitting Poland market first.

U.S. Cellular and Samsung announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is available today, both in stores and online. The Android-powered tablet runs on the 4G LTE network, with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G, and is the first device introduced in U.S. Cellular's 4G LTE device line-up. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available for $499.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 coming to India next Month

The 7-inch tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 back unveiled back in February is all set to be launched in South West Asia in April. This Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) powered tablet will be available in the Asian market as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB variants.

The Galaxy Tab 2 310 comes with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 3MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Bluetooth, A GPS, HSPA+ support and 4,000mAh battery but there is no word on pricing yet.

Samsung and Verizon Introduce the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with 4G LTE

Verizon and Samsung today announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with 4G LTE which will be available in coming weeks. Galaxy Tab 7.7 packs a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280×800 resolution, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, full 720p recording and 1080p playback, a 2-megapixel front-facing, 16 GB on board storage and running Android 3.2 with TouchWiz.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 boasts a brilliant Super AMOLED™ Plus touchscreen display, allowing customers to watch movies, view pictures and play games that come to life in high-definition 720p (1280×800) resolution. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and HTML 5 Web browser to quickly access the Web, stream music and more at blazing speeds using the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 measures just 7.9 millimeters thin (less than half an inch) and weighs only 340 grams (roughly 12 oz), making this tablet one of the most portable premium and stylish tablets available.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features Peel Smart Remote that allows customers to find and watch their favorite TV shows and discover new shows based on their preferences through built-in infrared blaster.
