Nokia Lumia 900 now Official, coming to AT&T’s 4G LTE network

Nokia and AT&T announced the Nokia Lumia 900, the first of Nokia's Windows Phone-based range to feature high-speed LTE connectivity. Coming exclusively to AT&T in the coming months in cyan and matte black, the Nokia Lumia 900 has a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack Display (800X480), a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200 processor, a 512MB RAM,running Mango Commercial Release 2 (Mango + LTE) (Windows Phone 7.5) and has an 16GB of internal storage.  If we talk about camera, there's an 8-megapixel primary camera with a 28mm f/2.2 Carl Zeiss lens and 1-megapixel with an f2.4 lens and 30fps capture front-facing camera. There’s a 1840mAH battery which will last for about 7hrs talk-time and up to 300hrs on standby. Other features include, a Bluetooth, WiFi,  USB 2.0 high-speed, A-GPS and there's no word on pricing yet.

Nokia bringing more features to Existing Lumia Windows Phone Devices

Nokia announced that it will bring several new features including new user interface, apps and upgrades to existing Lumia Windows Phone handsets (Lumia 900, 800, 710, and 610).

Nokia's legacy Lumia devices won't be graced with Windows Phone 8 but to compensate, Finnish manufacturer will deliver new Start screen look and feel, familiar from Windows Phone 8, Nokia City lens, ringtone maker app, updated contact and share app, Bluetooth file transfer to send media files.
Additional new features for all Lumia devices will include:
  • A new Start screen look and feel, familiar from Windows Phone 8, giving you a whole new look the moment you unlock your phone
  • Ringtone maker app to selected markets to create a personal ringtone
  • Contact share app updated to support sharing over Bluetooth in addition to SMS and email
  • Bluetooth file transfer to send media files via Bluetooth from your Lumia device to any other phone 
The upgrades will be rolled out in phases for the Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900

AT&T announced that the Windows Phone 8 smartphones, Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will be available online and in stores beginning November 9th for $99.99 and $49.99 respectively.

Pre-order for both the smartphones starts November 7th. The Nokia Lumia 920 will be available in red, white, black, yellow and cyan, while the Lumia 820 will only be available in black.

Nokia Lumia 710 now shipping, coming HK, India, Russia next week

Nokia today announced the Nokia Lumia 710 will hit shelves, less than one month after the Nokia Lumia 800 started turning heads.

The Nokia Lumia 710 will start selling today in Taiwan alongside the Nokia Lumia 800. The Nokia Lumia 710 will then reach stores in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Russia in the next seven days and continue its global roll-out over the coming weeks.

Estimated retail price is 270 EUR, excluding taxes and subsidies and availability will be via operator partners, retailers and open channels depending on local situation.

Launched at Nokia World, the Nokia Lumia 710 offers an accessible entrance to Windows Phone, enhanced with features that bring Nokia’s great strengths to bear. It’s a bright and fashionable phone, offering customization through exchangeable back covers and thousands of apps.

It comes in black and white varieties, with the choice of black, white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow back covers. The 3.7-inch screen offers an 800 x 480-pixel resolution with a ClearBlack TFT for great colors and readability even in bright sunlight. At the rear, there’s a five-megapixel auto-focus camera with an LED flash. The camera can also shoot HD video at 30 frames-per-second.

It’s designed for social, offering full integration of Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In, and photo-sharing can be done in just a couple of taps. The phone - a China-tuned version of Nokia’s popular Lumia 800 features a 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack curved touchscreen display, a 1.4 GHz processor, 8 MP camera with exclusive Carl Zeiss optics, HD video playback, 16GB of internal user memory and 25GB SkyDrive storage.

The Nokia Lumia 800C hits stores in April and comes in black and cyan for 3599 RMB (with contract). And Nokia is just getting started: A CDMA version of the Lumia 610 - Lumia 610C is also headed to China Telecom sometime in the second quarter of 2012.

Nokia today announced its fourth and entry level Lumia smartphone- Lumia 610. This entry level Windows Phone (Mango) packs a 3.7-inch LCD (WVGA 800 x 480 pixels) display, 256 MB RAM and have 8GB of internal storage but no microSD support, which means no option to expand beyond using Skydrive. Lumia 610 features 5MP auto focus camera, a 1,300mAh battery promises 6.5 hours of talk-time and 530 of standby, HSDPA CAT 7, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, A-GPS and FM radio. It comes in white, cyan, magenta and black, priced at EUR189 and is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2012.

Don’t like the Nokia Lumia 900 Batman Edition? Here is yet another version of Lumia 900, but this time in beautiful pink color. Starting July 15th, the new pink color will join the league of white, black and cyan, will be available in the US from AT&T.

Nokia Lumia 900 Batman Edition heading to the UK

Nokia is likely to introduce Nokia Lumia 900 Batman Edition in selected European markets - including the UK (via Phones4U), France, and Germany in the coming weeks.

According to Pocket-lint, Nokia’s current Windows Phone device Nokia Lumia 800 has 'extremely limited Batman edition', too and will come in black and have the Batman logo laser etched into the polycarbonate body.

There is no pricing details on Nokia Lumia 900 Batman edition and Lumia 800 Batman edition.

Nokia Lumia 710 coming to T-Mobile in January

T-Mobile USA and Nokia announced the upcoming availability of the Nokia Lumia 710, the first Windows Phone from Nokia in the United States.

Available in a black or white finish, the Nokia Lumia 710 features a 3.7-inch ClearBlack WVGA touchscreen, a Qualcomm 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 5-megapixel autofocus camera.  Besides all the great new features of Windows Phone 7.5, it also comes pre-stocked with popular apps including ESPN, Netflix, The Weather Channel, Slacker Radio, T-Mobile TV, and Nokia Drive for voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation.

The Nokia Lumia 710 is expected to be available at T-Mobile retail stores, select dealers and retailers nationwide, and online starting January 11th. The Nokia Lumia 710 is expected to cost $49.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card, with a two-year service agreement and qualifying Classic voice and data plan.

Nokia announced a low-cost Windows Phone 8 smartphone - Nokia Lumia 620. The Lumia 620 uses interchangeable shells, packs a 3.8-inch TFT display, 1 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP rear-camera with flash and VGA front camera. It also features 8GB internal memory, Nokia City Lens, Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi.

The Nokia Lumia 620 will be available in the first quarter of 2013 for $249.

Different icons now represent different modes of transport, e.g. bus, train, or subway each has it’s own icon. Additionally, hotels, restaurants and shops now have new icons, too. You can check you previous destination with a simple swipe left or right.

AT&T launched Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II 4G LTE Devices

AT&T today launched two new 4G LTE-capable Windows Phones - Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan II.

The Nokia Lumia 900 available for $99.99 with the activation of a two-year service contract, comes in two colors, cyan and matte black (with a white version coming soon). The phone has a 4.3-inch active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display, a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8 megapixel camera with an exclusive Carl Zeiss wide-angle lens and a 1 megapixel front-facing camera.

The HTC Titan II, the next-generation Titan device will be available for $199.99 with a two-year service contract. It features the most powerful camera yet among Windows Phones, at 16 megapixels. The Titan II also has a dedicated image processor and a back-illuminated sensor for low lighting. It has a 4.7-inch display, also the largest among Windows Phones, and a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor.
