ViewSonic ViewPad 10 Pro dual-OS tablet use an Intel Oak Trail processor;7-inch ViewPad 7X also coming

The ViewPad 7x will be making its first official appearance. The ViewPad 7x is a seven-inch HoneyComb tablet that utilises a NVIDIA dual-core processor and promises users HSPA+ for greater Internet browsing and a enhanced multimedia experience.

The ViewPad 10Pro is the world's first dual-OS tablet that has both Windows 7 Professional and Android at your service. It is also one of the first tablets to use the latest Intel Oak Trail processor. The new Intel processor is powerful, yet offers amazing power savings which delivers the perfect combination of Windows technology in a mobile touch screen device.

In addition to tablet PCs, ViewSonic is also announcing advanced AV solutions that include the V3D245wm-LED, a 24-inch 3D Full HD LED monitor; the W200, an ultra-thin and lightweight WXGA pico projector; the WFM851, a slim and sleek digital photo frame; as well as a range of HD digital camcorders.

ViewSonic introduces $200 ViewPad 7e Android Tablet

ViewSonic today expanded its ViewPad tablet lineup to include the new ViewPad 7e. This convenient 7" Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet combines a powerful 1GHz processor that is excellent for flash video and web browsing. The included Amazon Services for Android and Amazon Kindle for Android applications create a great tablet and e-reading device. With pre-installed apps like Twitter, TuneIn Radio and WildTangent games, a service for convenient browsing, downloading and purchasing of online and social games, the ViewPad 7e delivers a layered, intuitive experience that is sure to please all ages and wallets.

ViewSonic Unveils Android based ViewPads

ViewSonic today announced its ViewPad line of Android-based devices, featuring the ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10.

ViewPad 7 – The Android 2.2 ViewPad 7 combines a powerful processor with 3.5G capable data technology in a lightweight, pocket-sized 7" form factor. With an 800x480 WVGA LCD screen, this device is one of the only 7" tablet solutions with Android Google Mobile Services (GMS). As a result, consumers can connect to a selection of more than 100,000 apps and games along with Gmail, YouTube and more for a superior and convenient entertainment solution that fits today's mobile lifestyle.

With its wireless 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth connectivity the ViewPad 7 supports instant messaging, VoIP, and all the web browsing and USB connectivity functions of a capacitive multi-touch device. The ViewPad 7 features 2 built-in cameras: a 3-megapixel, auto focus camera in the rear and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front. In addition to the integrated 512MB of memory, the ViewPad 7 offers up to an additional 32GB of storage capacity via the micro SD card slot, along with battery life of up to 10 hours. The result is the ultimate device for connected fun and multitasking – in a compact size easier to carry than a netbook and with better media performance than a smartphone.

The ViewPad 7 will be available in late Q4 2010 for an ESP of $479. Third-party accessories and ViewCare extended warranties will also be available at launch.

ViewPad 10 – Innovative and productive, this 10.1" dual-boot Wi-Fi device gives users a choice between Windows 7 Home Premium and Google Android 1.6 within the same device. With a high performance, high speed Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor, integrated 1GB of memory, 16GB SSD hard drive and expandable micro SD slot, the ViewPad 10 is ideally designed to view Flash-based content and Office programs with Windows, and for an optimized mobile entertainment experience with Android. Additionally, the 1024x600 LED backlit panel includes a G-sensor and capacitive multi-touch for intuitive navigation across multiple applications. Teamed with a 1.3-megapixel webcam with built-in microphone, the ViewPad 10 is great for videoconferencing as well.

The ViewPad 10 with dual-boot OS will be available in Q1 2011 for an ESP of $629. Third-party accessories and ViewCare extended warranties will be available at launch.

ViewSonic announced Windows based ViewPad 10pi and Gingerbread ViewPad 10e tablets

ViewSonic released the ViewPad 10e and ViewPad 10pi, both 10-inch tablets running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Windows 7 Professional respectively.

ViewPad 10pi -The Windows 7 Professional tablet features dual cameras for business video conferencing with a crisp IPS 1280x800 display panel. The tablet’s ViewScene user interface is powered by Thinix Touch to ensure users have an easy-to-touch, web-browsing experience. A dual-OS device, the ViewPad 10pi is powered by Intel’s Oak Trail z670 processor and can run Android 2.3 in addition to the Windows OS. The ViewPad 10pi has an ESP of $849 and is available late January 2012 in North America.

ViewPad 10e – Designed with ViewSonic’s power efficient model, the ViewPad 10e is paper thin and delivers more than 200 hours of standby life. Measuring just 9.1mm, the 10-inch enhanced, multi-viewing IPS display provides a superior ebook, movie viewing and game-playing experience. The device also includes many Android applications, such as the Amazon Kindle Reader and Amazon App Store for Android, and the 1Mobile market, which provides access to thousands of other free apps and games. Running Android 2.3 and a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor, the ViewPad 10e also includes the ViewScene 3D customized interface to bring a user-friendly, 3D-like experience to consumers. The ViewPad 10e has an ESP of $299 and will be available late January 2012 in North America and Latin America.

ViewSonic unveils 7-inch ViewPad E70 ICS tablet

ViewSonic today announced the newest addition to its tablet line, the 7-inch ViewPad E70. The compact, ultra slim Android 4.0 tablet ships with a 1GHz processor and 4GB memory storage. Other features include a front-facing camera, Wi-Fi support and microSD expandable storage up to 32 GB. The ultra-portable design makes it easy for users to bring the device on-the-go for viewing and streaming multimedia with the included 1080p HDMI output.

The ViewPad E70 will be available for $169.99 in late Q1.
