Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand 2, successor to its most popular smartphone Samsung Galaxy Grand. The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is a mid-range dual SIM Android smartphone features 5.25-inch HD (1280x720) TFT display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor running Android 4.3, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory expandable via microSD up to 64GB and 8MP rear facing camera and  1.9MP HD camera in front. Lenovo announced the new additions to the ultra portable Ideapad U Series Ultrabook and the multimedia intensive IdeaPad Z Series laptops as well as new models of IdeaCentre all-in-one desktops, from the sleek and stylish A Series to the affordable and space-saving C Series. Lenovo also introduced an extreme performance gaming desktop PC, the Lenovo Erazer X700 and for small businesses, the ThinkPad Edge E431 and E531 laptops.

Premier Thin and Light IdeaPad U and Mainstream Z Series

Lenovo’s signature IdeaPad U310 and U410 mainstream Ultrabook devices take thin and light to the next level with new 10-finger touch support. Nokia announced a low-cost Windows Phone 8 smartphone - Nokia Lumia 620. The Lumia 620 uses interchangeable shells, packs a 3.8-inch TFT display, 1 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP rear-camera with flash and VGA front camera. It also features 8GB internal memory, Nokia City Lens, Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi.

The Nokia Lumia 620 will be available in the first quarter of 2013 for $249.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 hit AT&T on November 9th

AT&T today announced that the Samsung ATIV smart PC, a new Windows 8 tablet and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, a 4G LTE Android tablet will be available at AT&T retail stores beginning November 9th. The Samsung ATIV smart PC will be priced at $799.99 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available for $499.99.

Samsung ATIV smart PC has an 11.6-inch HD PLS display, 64GB of internal storage memory and a microSD card slot to support up to an additional 32GB of memory and the Intel Atom dual-core processor, up to 1.5 GHz. ATIV smart PC comes installed with Windows 8 (which can be upgraded to Windows 8 Pro). It is also backward compatible and supports all existing software and applications that run on older windows OS such as Windows 7, Vista, and XP.

Samsung Mobile and AT&T are offering the following accessories3 to get the most out of the ATIV smart PC:

  • Stand Dock – Dock the ATIV smart PC in the Stand Dock to turn any environment into a personal office. In addition to providing a charge when docked, the Stand Dock is equipped with a built-in USB port and Ethernet (RJ45) port to connect the ATIV smart PC to LAN and various USB peripherals.

Google just launched the $249 11.6-inch ARM-based Samsung Chromebook. It's one of the lightest laptops on the market weighs only 2.5 pounds, 0.8-inches thick, more than 6 hours of battery life, supports 1080p video playback and comes with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years.

Other specs includes - Samsung Exynos 5 Dual Processor, 2GB of RAM, VGA cam, Built-in dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HDMI port, Bluetooth, one USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port each.

The new Samsung Chromebook is available for pre-order online from Amazon, Best Buy, PC World and other retailers. Next week it will be available for sale from these same online retailers as well as the Google Play store. LG Mach coming to Sprint

LG and Sprint announced that the LG Mach will join Sprint's line up of 4G LTE devices along with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, LG Optimus G, and Sprint Plug-in-Connect Tri-Mode USB.

The LG Mach packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM running Android 4.o Ice Cream Sandwich OS, features 4-inch WVGA display (480x 800), Full QWERTY slide out keyboard, 8GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB), 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera and 1,700mAh battery.

ARCHOS announce the unveiling of its Gen10 XS tablet line. The ARCHOS 101 XS, a 10.1-inch tablet weighing only 21 ounces and measuring only 8mm thick, will be the first of this new line of extra slim Android tablets to debut mid-September 2012 for £299.99 SRP, followed by the release of the ARCHOS 97 XS and ARCHOS 80 XS later in 2012.

Powered by an unskinned version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, ARCHOS Gen10 tablets deliver a pure Android experience and will be upgradable to Android’s next OS, Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean (in Q4 2012).
