T-Mobile unveils Full Lineup for Upcoming season: Nexus 4, HTC 8X, Lumia 810 to land November 14

T-Mobile, today unveiled its full lineup of smartphones, tablets and innovative services for the upcoming season. Featuring the newest Windows Phone 8 devices, including the Nokia Lumia 810 and the Windows Phone 8X by HTC; the Google Nexus 4 with T-Mobile as a premier launch partner; and the Samsung Galaxy Note II featuring premium gaming experiences from world-class partners such as EA and MOGA.

Windows Phone 8

T-Mobile will have two Windows Phone 8 devices - the Nokia Lumia 810 and the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

Sprint's Galaxy Note II Available October 25th for $300

Sprint announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available in either Marble White or Titanium Gray color option starting October 25th for $299.99 with two-years contract.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II ships with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, powered by Samsung's Exynos 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM features a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video capture, 1.9MP front-camera, 4G LTE , 16GB of on-board storage, support for microSD card, and Samsung's S Pen apps and utilities.

Samsung Galaxy S III to get Jelly Bean Android 4.1 starting today, 15 additional devices listed

In an email sent to Verge, Samsung named the smartphones and tablets that it plans to update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which includes ten phones - the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, and Galaxy S Duos; four tablets: the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1; and an unknown device.

The company has also announced that it's updating Samsung Galaxy S III to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, hitting Poland market first.

At the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event held today at IFA, in Berlin, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note II featuring a 5.5-inch (140.9mm) HD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor and HSPA Plus or 4G LTE connectivity. The Galaxy Note II powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, comes with an 8 megapixel rear-facing and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera with HD video recording including memory options of 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB with an expandable micro SD memory slot and 3,100mAh battery.

Available in Marble White or Titanium Gray color options, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is set to launch in October starting in major European, Asian, and Middle East markets

Sprint officially announced that starting today they will roll out OTA (over-the-air) Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch.

Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch will receive the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, update through an over-the-air maintenance release starting today. The over-the-air update will begin rolling out to users today, and all users should receive the update in the next month.

LG announced Intelligent Voice Recognition, Quick Voice

Apple has Siri feature, Samsung has S Voice feature in Samsung Galaxy S III and now today LG too have it, and announced it as "Quick Voice".

LG’s new intelligent voice recognition service, "Quick Voice" allows users to interact with their LG smart-device with voice only - the voice call, text, contacts, alarms, calendar, maps, weather, and so on.

With the help of Google translate,

"Quick Voice" features the end of June "Optimus view” is applied through the upgrade in July," Optimus LTE Ⅱ' services will be even.

LG’s Quick Voice will be available through upgrade to Optimus Vu and Optimus LTE II starting late June in South Korea.

Sprint confirms Epic 4G Touch, Nexus S and others to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Sprint released an official statement to confirm that Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch. Nexus S including others will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update in 2012.

Sprint will begin to roll out Google's latest version of Android™, Ice Cream Sandwich, to our customers in 2012. Ice Cream Sandwich will be available via an over-the-air update to a variety of devices including Galaxy™ S II, Epic™ 4G Touch and Nexus S™ and other key products in our line-up. Stay tuned for more details and exact timing.

Sprint users with Android device will have to wait for an unknown period of time to receive Android 4.0 ICS update.

HTC today announced that HTC One X and HTC One V smartphone will be available in India on April 2nd with tag of Rs 35,000 ($680) and Rs 17,000 ($330) respectively.

Most anticipated HTC One X which will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy S II in Indian market features a 1.5GHz Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core with an integrated fifth Battery Saver Core and a high-performance 12-Core NVIDIA GPU, 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 resolution) 720p HD screen, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, DLNA, 8MP rear and 1.3MP front cam and 1,800mAh battery

The upgrade will begin in the European countries including Poland, Hungary, and Sweden, as well as Korea today and gradually roll out to other markets. Android 4.0 ICS software upgrade for Galaxy Note, Galaxy SII LTE, Galaxy R, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, 7.7, 8.9, 8.9 LTE and 10.1 will follow soon.

Expansys UK announced that this pink variant is officially called 'rose' in colour will be available for purchase in the "week commencing February 13" for £439.99.  Specs-wise nothing has changed- it features 4.27 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera, 16GB of internal storage plus microSD card slot, and the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) software which will receive ICS Android 4.0 in Q1 2012. Planned for availability in the coming months, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD is an elegantly designed and highly functional 4G LTE smartphone that features a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, as well as a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor for ultra-smooth game play and video playback.

Samsung Exhilarate.Also planned for availability in the coming months, the Samsung Exhilarate is constructed from 80 percent recycled post-consumer materials and features eco modes and tools such as an Eco calendar and calculator. The Exhilarate also boasts a four-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display, front and rear facing cameras, voice recognition and access to AT&T U-verse Live TV. In addition, the Samsung Exhilarate was certified as Platinum by UL Environment – their highest level of sustainability certification. This is AT&T's second device to receive this certification.

Pantech Element.This affordable tablet will be available exclusively in AT&T company-owned stores and online for $299.99 with a two-year contract, with planned availability on January 22. The Element is Pantech's first LTE-connected Android tablet, and is waterproof2, greatly improving portability and usability (see the Pantech website for full details). The Element runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and includes a crisp 8-inch display, front and rear-facing cameras, and a rich web experience with full HTML and PC-like tabbed browsing.

Pantech Burst. Also planned for availability on January 22 in AT&T company-owned stores and online, the value-oriented Burst will be the first 4G LTE smartphone from Pantech in AT&T's device portfolio. The Burst combines 4G LTE speeds, a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and Android functionality in a slim, affordable package – just $49.99 with a two-year contract. It will be available in two color choices, titanium or ruby red.

For a limited time, customers may buy the Pantech Element and Burst together on contract and get the Element for $249.99 and the Burst for free.
