Samsung Unveils Galaxy Note 10.1 at MWC

Samsung announced the launch of another 10.1-inch tablet--Galaxy Note 10.1. Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and features a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 3MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP on front and HSPA+connectivity. Samsung Galaxy Note II Announced

At the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event held today at IFA, in Berlin, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note II featuring a 5.5-inch (140.9mm) HD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor and HSPA Plus or 4G LTE connectivity. The Galaxy Note II powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, comes with an 8 megapixel rear-facing and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera with HD video recording including memory options of 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB with an expandable micro SD memory slot and 3,100mAh battery.

Available in Marble White or Titanium Gray color options, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is set to launch in October starting in major European, Asian, and Middle East markets

Samsung Galaxy Note hits European market

Samsung today announced the commercial availability of the Galaxy Note in the European market starting from Germany. Samsung Galaxy Note features the world’s first and largest 5.3" HD Super AMOLED display and powered by 1.4GHz dual-core processors, runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Together with commercial availability of the Galaxy Note, Samsung also announced the launch of ‘S Choice’, a new category at Samsung Apps, with applications specially designed for the Galaxy Note’s S Pen function. New applications under this offering will include Soonr, OmniSketch, Zen Brush, ComicBook!, and iAnnotate PDF.

T-Mobile unveils Full Lineup for Upcoming season: Nexus 4, HTC 8X, Lumia 810 to land November 14

AT&T Unveils 4G LTE Android Smartphones and Tablet Planned for Early 2012, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD also on its way

AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets President and Chief Executive Officer Ralph de la Vega unveiled five smartphones and one tablet powered by 4G LTE and the Android platform that are planned for availability from AT&T in early 2012.

Samsung Galaxy Note. A task master's dream, the Galaxy Note combines the best features of a smartphone with the larger viewing screen of a tablet and the convenience of a notepad -- delivering all-in-one functionality to help users work more efficiently and maintain productivity while on-the-go. Featuring the largest screen on a smartphone, the Galaxy Note boasts the world's first 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED screen (1280x800) for sharp, clear colors and readability – both indoors and out. Galaxy Note also features the S Pen, the most advanced pen input technology, featuring an array of leading qualities including pressure sensitivity, preciseness, speed and more. With the S Pen, users can easily sketch drawings, jot down notes, or write emails and texts quickly and easily in free-form handwriting. An easy screen-capture function also allows users to instantly save any screen, and these screens can also be personalized with the S Pen before being saved or shared.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is planned for availability in AT&T stores and online in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD. Planned for availability in the coming months, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD is an elegantly designed and highly functional 4G LTE smartphone that features a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, as well as a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor for ultra-smooth game play and video playback.

Samsung Exhilarate.Also planned for availability in the coming months, the Samsung Exhilarate is constructed from 80 percent recycled post-consumer materials and features eco modes and tools such as an Eco calendar and calculator. The Exhilarate also boasts a four-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display, front and rear facing cameras, voice recognition and access to AT&T U-verse Live TV. In addition, the Samsung Exhilarate was certified as Platinum by UL Environment – their highest level of sustainability certification. This is AT&T's second device to receive this certification.

Pantech Element.This affordable tablet will be available exclusively in AT&T company-owned stores and online for $299.99 with a two-year contract, with planned availability on January 22. Samsung Galaxy Note to get ICS upgrade in Q2

Samsung today announced it will be offering a Premium Suite upgrade for Galaxy Note users worldwide from Q2. It includes extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimized applications in addition to an OS upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Premium Suite offers new features and applications exclusive to GALAXY Note and its innovative S Pen, which includes S Note, a unique tool that lets you combine your notes or sketches with other digital content, giving you a new way to create your own stories. S Note comes in various ready-to-use templates for a range of tasks including meeting minutes, diary and others.

S Note also includes the innovative Shape Match and Formula Match applications that help correct and digitize geometric shapes and even solve numeric formulas hand-drawn with S Pen, increasing your on-the-go efficiency and productivity. You can draw tables and grids which are instantly digitized, saving time and effort. Moreover, by using the S Note’s integrated knowledge search engines, users can quickly search, and obtain information.

For a touch of self-expression, the Premium Suite also includes My Story, another S Pen optimized application that allows you to create personalized digital cards for friends or family using any type of content including notes, video content, photos, text or voice.

Samsung today launched the Galaxy Note with LTE, Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 with LTE in Korea. The Galaxy Note releasing in Korea is LTE capable with 1.5GHz dual-core processor, running Android Gingerbread featuring 5.3" HD Super AMOLED display, a large 32GB internal memory, 8MP camera, 2500mAh capacity battery, high-speed Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, NFC short-range communication technology.

On the same day Samsung also launched Galaxy Nexus which is the world-first smartphone running Icecream Sandwich OS, featuring 1.2GHz dual-core, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 which is the first LTE capable tablet in Korea running Google's Android platform in the 1.5GHz dual honeycomb cores.

Samsung said on the 29th that it has shipped more than 1 million units of Galaxy Note globally. The worldwide sales of Galaxy Note are also on the rise in Europe and Asia including France, Germany, Hongkong and Taiwan. The speed of the global sales is expected to accelerate further next year when it will be available in the US.

A Samsung official also said "1 million global shipping of Galaxy Note means it has well positioned itself as a market creator," also adding "Samsung will continuously strengthen its leadership in the global smartphone market as well as create new markets with innovative devices.

T-Mobile USA announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note which is expected to arrive in coming weeks. T-Mobile Galaxy Note will ship with Android 4.0 ICS feature a 5.3-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 CPU, 8MP camera, HSPA+ 42 and the Premium Suite.

The Galaxy Note also has the SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise) designation, includes on-device AES256-bit encryption, enhanced support for Microsoft Exchange provides Wi-Fi Calling capabilities and offers the T-Mobile 4G Pro App Pack (includes Dropbox, Evernote, Square, TripIt, CamScanner and LinkedIn).

In an email sent to Verge, Samsung named the smartphones and tablets that it plans to update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which includes ten phones - the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, and Galaxy S Duos; four tablets: the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1; and an unknown device.

The company has also announced that it's updating Samsung Galaxy S III to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, hitting Poland market first.

NTT DoCoMo to release Galaxy Note SC-05D on April 6th

NTT DoCoMo announced the "docomo NEXT series GALAXY Note SC-05D" LTE smartphone equipped with a 5.3-inch WXGA HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front facing cam. It also feature S-Pen (stylus), Bluetooth, WiFi and a 2,500mAh battery. Galaxy Note release is scheduled for April 6th and will be available in ceramic white colour.

Android 4.0 ICS update for Galaxy Note begins today - Vodafone Australia

Vodafone Australia announced that it will begin rolling out Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (build:IMM76D.DULR5 ) update for Galaxy Note from 1:00pm, 7th August 2012 as part of a staged process, which means not everybody can update at the same time.

Samsung will roll out the Android 'Ice Cream Sandwich' platform update for the Galaxy Note handsets sold by Vodafone.

You can download this update via Firmware over-the-air (FOTA) or by synchronising with Samsung Kies.
